2018 Capitol Lake Noxious/Invasive Weed Control

Northwest Aquatic Management has held the contract to treat the noxious/invasive weeds around the whole Capitol Lake Campus in Olympia, Washington.  Some of the weeds that we control are noxious and require treatment to prevent spreading.  Other are invasive, we treat them along the way so they will not spread enough to become a noxious weed.  

The weeds that we are treating are Yellow Flag Iris

Purple Loosestrife

Fragrent White Water Lily

Eurasian Watermilfoil

Japanese Knotweed
